When Texas Iron fancied a brew,
'Which type should I buy?' he asked WHO.
Well Laphet from Myanmar
Tastes just like your grandma,
But quaffing it won't make you spew.

Re: Best Teas...???
Tea must NEVER be made in a cup especially whe you put the milk in first. Loose tea in a pot is best but decent tea bags like Punjana will do provided you brew it for 4 - 5 minutes.

Thank me later.

Re: Best Teas...???
Found a blend from Twinings called "All Day" when I was last back in the UK. Brought a couple of boxes (of bags) back with me.

It's quite acceptable, given that I drink the stuff by the pint - and it's not as tannic as Yorkshire Tea, which leaves my tea mug looking like the bowl of an Arab curry house khazi after a single use.

And, yeah - Lipton's Yellow fucking Label is everywhere.

Earl Grey is disgusting. It's like drinking warm Dettol or Zoflora.

Tex said no silly flavours.

When she has time, Nursey likes to have her Punnany on the pot.

This is getting worse if you ask me...

Re: Best Teas...???
We use the pot when we have time and leisure to do so. Loose leaves. But we're often rushing about.

Was in Sri Lanka and had the best tea ever .

Cost about 2 quid for a kilo , and that was tourist price .

Tea should be in a pot , not bags.

PG Tips?

*heaves*

Nurse is on the money, and if I'm not mistaken, she got some Punjana on board on my recommendation. They're the best bar none.

Re: Best Teas...???
When abroad, pretty much the only decent teabags I can get are Liptons Yellow label. They seem to be almost everywhere abroad.

Twinings English Breakfast is ok. But Aldi's own brand red label i the best

Nurse Ratched 4:28 Sat Dec 1
Re: Best Teas...???
Rude.

Judging by Tex's mention of OF Tips, etc, I assumed he was looking for a brand, not a particular type (e.g. Assam)
